Borders Children’s Charity’s
response to the risk presented by the Coronavirus (Covid-19)
In light of the current situation with the Covid-19 outbreak, while the committee members of the Borders Children’s Charity are following Government guidelines and working from home, we would like to reassure you that the BCC is fully operational for receiving and reviewing funding requests.
We’re here to support children living in the Borders in very difficult circumstances and especially in such a difficult time. If you are a third-party professional wishing to apply for funding for a child in need, please do not hesitate to submit your application in the normal way, as described on our website.
We regret that a number of our fundraising events planned for the spring and summer months will now not go ahead but we look forward to resuming our fundraising activities once the situation has been overcome.
The Borders Children's Charity exists to help children aged 0-18, living in the Scottish Borders, by relieving poverty, sickness and distress and advancing education.
We have been helping local children for over 50 years. While this marks a milestone it is also a sad fact that the BCC is now needed more than ever!
There are too many children in the Scottish Borders suffering from poverty or a disability or sickness or distress.
Our charity is run entirely by a committee of volunteers. This means that, with minimal overheads, 99% of all donations can be given directly to our cause.
Please help us to help them.
99 pence in every pound raised goes directly to children in the Scottish Borders.
